today on my way to school my car started to drive weird, when i went to hit the gas the transmission didn't seem to want to change gear and took awhile to gain speed. i put the transmission from automatic to sport and drove it manually and it works fine when i change the gear, what can i do to fix it? i hope i don't have to replace it.
the car does idle high, put it been like that before the transmission started acting up

Check your fluid level. If it is low, be sure to only put in Honda fluid though because it is a different type than your average stuff.

Is your car idling weird? Sometimes in general when cars won't shift gears on their own but you can shift out normally, there is a vaccuum line leak that goes on the side of the transmission. Sometimes this hose pops off. I don't know if yours has that or not, but its worth checking out.

Don't drive your car low on fluid though, you can burn up your tranny.

Also... it might have gone right in top gear if your kickdown cable has popped off the throttle line... check on that too.

Good luck.

change the fluid then replace the shift solonoids located on the front of the trans left of the exhaust manifold.
