ive found 2 vehicals that are both the same price, a price im willing to pay. The 89 Jeep Cherokee laredo has 250,000 kms, no rust and very clean, also 4x4, and the chevy blazer has 300,000 kms pretty clean, non 4x4. im buying one to use it as a daily driver and also take it up the mountian every weekend.
out of the 2 vehicals, which one is the better deal and more reliable

I would go with a jeep myself, but damn thats a lot of miles on either one! But if your wanting to go in the mountains you need a 4x4. I think you will be very disappointed with a 2wd chevy because no one likes getting stuck!

its hard to say. Personally Id suggest getting something with less km, more than 200000km and you better be prepaired to work on. Anyways if you have to own one of theses I will say this. If the blazer has the iron duke 4cyl avoid it mega. The iron duke is an engine to avoid, its slow poorly designed and not designed to last, and this is coming from a chevy guy. But if its got 300 000km on I seriously doubt its an iron duke. Also Id only get the 4x4 if you're going to use the 4x4 capabilities, as it can be just something to go wrong. If one of them is stick shift, Id probably go for that one since manual car's transmission last longer than autos.

Normally Id probably say go chevy, but the jeep has the a 50 000 km advantage and thats a huge differance.
