T Todd A New member Jun 30, 2009 #2 Sounds like your bendix drive on your starter is stuck. That is the gear that engages your flywheel.You can take the starter and sometimes unstick it by prying the bendix drive out using a screwdriver.

D David F New member Jun 30, 2009 #3 Dont worry about trying to fix it,just replace the starter,Because it will just stick again,something wrong with starter.
