When I turn key on, I now have power. What does the pink wire in ignition switch wire harness service. It got hot during a shortout and kept blowing inline fuse that goes to starter solenoid. With the pink wire disconnected, it switches on and turns over like a champ. I can hear the fuel pump come on and whine, when I engage starter to turn over engine it just wont start. When I release key from start position I can hear the pump prime again. Should it do this or shouldnt it stay hot in on and start position?
