1989 Chevy 1500 Engine swap?

Im swapping the 350 in my truck for a 454. i have already put the new engine in and am now working on the wiring. how do i connect the wiring from the 1993 454 to the 1989 transmission? there were 5 wires, 3 of which i know where to plug into, the other two were purple with a white stripe and yellow. anyone have any experience on this? if not then do you have any resources on the net from guys that do? i have had some mechanics look at it and they were stumped as well. and i got another guy coming to look at it. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Chevy had so many variations in trannies, if it were me I'd chek on what kind of tranny was in the other truck and was it a 4 wheeler, my 4 wheeler calls for different wiring to reset eng. timing etc. when kicked into 4 dr. Go from there.
