1989 Astro Van clock and radio quit working?

I tried to check for fuse but it only had radio fuse that I found anyway and it is good. What has caused them to quit and how do I fix it myself. I am no mechanic so if you could give instructions I would appreciate it. Thank you!
 
old car. check the fuse in the fuse box. find out which fuse is for the radio. pull that fuse out. if the metal piece inside the fuse is not one piece it blew. replace it.
