1988 Honda Prelude Alternator Help?

Hey guys, i have a 1988 Honda Prelude, Si and the alternator is not charging the battery, well the Battery light is on all the time, And it keeps going flat causing me to charge it all the time. This all started after driving through some puddles fast mucking around, so what could the problem be, and how could i fix this??? how would i remove the alternator? please help
 
could even be a worn out battery i have the same cra and this used to happen, it turned out some hot fluids of some sort leaked onto some cors causing my batter to pretty much get destroyed
 
first charge the battery then go to any shop or parts store ask them to check charging system most places free to check then you know why or what is bad no guessing
