1988 Dodge Truck Problem?

Got a 1988 Dodge pickup. It is a 318 tbi. It starts, but while idling it about dies every couple of seconds. When i put it in drive it dies. the injectors are good and replaced the throttle position sensor. I can drive it a short distance by pumping the gas continuously. can't figure it out. Any ideas?

you need to also check the fuel pressure on it ,if the pump is getting bad and the pressure drops it wont run right at all,if your having to pump the gas to keep it running then you may have a pump going bad ,good luck.

Fuel pump or fuel filter.

throttle body might have to be cleaned,i had the same problem with a 2005 jeep Cherokee.
