1987 toyota pickup 4wheel drive?

i just put a new independent front suspension in my truck and the passenger side tire when locked in 4 wheel drive is dragging is this because i have different gear ratio in the front than in the back the gears where both replaced a few years back with lower ratio gears and if this is causing the problem how hard is it to take the old gears out of the old pumpkin and put them in the new front end

Check gear ratios must be the same front and rear, also tires have to be the same size
