1987 honda magna will not stay on when choke is turned off?

I have an 1987 honda magna that starts with the choke on. But when you take the choke off the bike turns off. Also I unpluged the 2 front spark plugs. and it does not turn on, and i unpluged the back plugs and it turns on.
