I have a 1987 Ford Ranger 2.9L V6. I just had a head gasket blow and it would take a crazy amount of work. I want to upgrade to a 302 V8 sooner or later. Should I just have the head gasket replaced? Or just buy the 302?
The truck only has about 76000 miles but it sat in a field for 7 years. Everything has been replaced except the engine...please help. Thanks
