I have a 85 Honda Sabre v65. For whatever reason the headlight, (as of now) will not come on. Previously, the headlight would only come on if the high beams were on. I just bought the bike about 2 weeks ago, and i think i remember the previous owner saying something about an aftermarket headlight, but i cannot remember. There are aftermarket fog lights on the bike too, that work with a flip of a switch. I'm not sure if he knew there was an electrical issue with the headlight, and this was his way of fixing it or what. I'm not even sure where to start. Could it be my battery, a short, a fuse? Bike starts fine, but maybe the battery's weak? I took it out for a ride, and noticed the high beam light kept going dim under acceleration.
Anybody have any idea where i should start 1st? How would i go about checking the bulb? These/this Sabre has a small windshield and a case around the light. How would i go a about taking this off, if needed?
