*This specific truck does not have computerized ignition, the computer is not in use AT ALL, the truck has a old school 69' distributor in it* The truck has sat up for about a year and i got in a wreck not to long ago and i had this truck sitting in my yard as a back-up pretty much. Well i got it running and working properly mechanic wise and today i got it ready to be road legal (plates, tags, insurance) and i went to drive it to the store and it will not start, the fuel pump is working the fuel filter isn't clogged and its getting plenty of gas, I have no F****** what is wrong with it and it doesn't help that it no longer runs of the comp, at least i would have trouble codes, anyways any and all useful input would be great and if u don't have a useful answer and your just gonna make a dumb remark, don't bother plz

OK first is there ant difference in the weather, colder, wetter or anything different from when you had it running before? If your fuel tank is really low then you could be picking up the trash and water instead of good fuel. If spark and fuel is OK check the choke to see if it is working. Does it missfire when you try starting? Pull your distributor cap and make sure it's in good condition. Check the coil, we could go on and on but you said you did the repairs to get it running right, do you have a manual on your truck, it will explain how to test both the fuel and the ignition systems.

well i have the same truck and my old motor i had to barley push the gas petal i dont know why but it worked or maybe the timing
