I changed the wireing harness in my SR5 pickup, the harness that i took out was set up for a volt gauge, and the harness i replaced it with had a warning light. Im useing the instrument cluster with the volt gauge. with the engine running the charge and brake light stay on and its only chargeing 12 volts. I have the charge relay in the fuse box and im useing the alt. with a black mod. conection.
