1984 1300 kawasaki voyager; cold start up the bike runs as if it not getting gas; over 1200 rpms and starts missing; I loose tach display; once warmed up after about ten miles at under 30 mph runs fine, no misses, full power; what is causing this???.
let me explain further. I am the original owner. everything on the bike is original, including the clutch cable. I start the bile up cold it idlels fine, let is warm up a bit, then give it the gas and the motor will start missing and the lcd tack drops to zero, let off the gas and the tack comes back to idling rpms. I am thinking it is electrical because of the loosing the tach, if it were fuel enjectors, why would I lose the tach? but again, once the bike warms up it runs fine
