ok i bought this bike for 150 with everything attached. the guy told me that the carb wouldn't quit flooding. i priced parts for the float ad the pin that goes with it. well i wasn't sure that would fix the problem so i purchased a new carb (a mikuni 20mm round slide) . well i got it in and it was a flange style instead of a spigot style. so i fabricated an adapter. the dimensions are about a 64th of a inch off but really close. i replaced the fuel filter cleaned the tank and put new fuel lines and a spark plug. second kick off it cranked up and idled Perfect. as soon as i give it gas it backfires in the carb or just peters out. i adjusted the fuel pin and it seemed to do better a little richer. it will idle up a tiny little bit then dead nothing. im completely out of ideas and need someones Else's opinion. please be as detailed as possible. thanks!
it has the same bore and the same jetting.
explain why it wont work please. with my adapter on it it has almost the same dimensions as the origanal, give or take
