1983 Honda Magna 750 which keeps popping out of 3rd gear when applying the throttle.?

My 1983 Honda Magna 750 motorcycle runs great except for the transmission issue. Just after shifting into 3rd gear, I begin to roll on the throttle, and then it pops out of 3rd and goes into neutral. What could be wrong? Something simple and cheap to repair?
 
Could be your 3rd gear is worn, or something is out of alignment. Either way, it sounds like a problem inside the transmission.
