My son has a 1983 Ford F100 that won't stay running, especially up a hill. We've replace everything we can think of, solenoid, new gas tank, new hoses, new spark plugs, new clutch, new battery... It runs fine and sputters a little, but as soon as you start to get her going (we have an up hill driveway to get out an he backed her in), the car sputters and dies.
Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Oh, and he's cleaned out the carburetor.
I forgot to mention that it has a new fuel filter and had a complete oil change.
He hasn't changed the fuel pump, but he narrowed it down and it's not the problem.
