I recently bought a used 1982 honda cb900c with 40,000 miles.
I can get it to start about once ever 5 tries using the choke but then it has trouble staying up. when i give it gas, it sometimes has a delayed response and wont rev up till a second after i turn the throttle and when it comes back down it dies. It wont stay on long enough to take off. Is this the alternator? bad battery? need to check carbs or what? Please help!
