Hello, this is my first post, hopefully I can borrow some expertise!
I have a Suzuki GS550L, 1982. It runs fine, however sometimes it can be a little tricky getting it to shift. It will be stuck hard, and I keep lifting or stepping on the shifter as I am rolling and eventually it will pop into gear.
Also, I may be driving in any gear, and once I get high into the power-band (6,000 rpms or more usually), it will slip into "neutral". The gear selector is still in the proper gear, but it reacts the same as if I just pulled in the clutch.
I have seen the clutch packs for sale on eBay, and I am wondering if I should just buy them, replace them, and see if it works? Maybe someone had a similar issue, and could give me a little direction.
I do have the Clymer's Manual already.
Thanks!
