1981 kawasaki kz650 no spark?

i bought a kawasaki kz650 just the other day and it ran perfectly, then the same day i had the bike running and when i got back on it the bike just died. so i wheeled it back to the garage and found out it had a blown fuse and no matter how many fuses i put into the bike they would blow as soon as i turned the kill switch on. i was lookin at it last night and the bike now deosnt blow any fuses but it has no spark, it looked like it would spark once in a while but its completely random and hardly every shows spark, or not at all....???????
