Need more information. Ford did not make to many full-time 4x4s like chevy did in those years. If you have a traction aid in your front differential then this would cause the feeling. If your brake is dragging it could also cause this. You must have a new process 203 transfer case. If it were me i would call milemarker and get a part-time kit so that i would just have the front turning when you had it in four wheel drive. I can feel the difference in my truck in two wheel drive and if someone just locks one of my hubs in a parking lot.
