I have a 1979 Ford Mustang hatchback that has a stock 3.3L straight 6 engine. I want to know if i could I swap this engine out for my 2.8L V6 engine that I pulled from my mom's 1978 Mustang. I know that the '79 mustang was made with a 2.8L V6 engine when manufactured, but would I have any problems swapping with the '78's V6? Particularly with motor mounts and the transmission's bolt pattern. Thank you.
