So it is getting really cold. My heater does not work. I have some ac parts but it has never worked for me. The heater however did work last winter, and some time in between it stopped. I bought a new blower, but it still doesn't work. Which makes me think it is either not connected properly, or the control thing is just too old. Any help? How can I check? If anyone has a link to a wiring diagram for this, it would be helpful. Thank you.

you could allways run some new wires to the battery with a togal switch like my dad did with an in line fuse, some of the older chevy trucks had a problem with the on and off switch it was in the varable shitch high/med/low went out going rite to the battery would be on high or find one in the bone yard, hope that helps, bryan

you are saying the blower is,nt working? maybe it,s the switch on the dash. unplug the blower, run a piece of covered wire off the hot post of the battery and touch the prong on the blower. also did you check the fuse?

Wire your new blower direct with a toggle switch. Put a hot wire to the high side. Since that is the only speed youll be using anyhow. And the other wire to a metal ground, anywhere on the metal dash.
