My boyfriend's brother is into collecting comics as a hobby. Presently, he's decided to look into purchasing a few original Star Wars comics. He recently went to a comic shop that had a copy of the 1979 40 Cents Star Wars 'Thunder in the Stars!' comic in FINE condition. Very slight wear, but very nice and colorful over all. It seems like a great buy, but the man at the shop wants to sell it for around $150 to $200 dollars for that single issue.
Is that reasonable for the slight wear, and the year/pricing?
The issue looks near perfect on the outside, just a bit old. On the inside, maybe one of the pages has a nearly invisible stain from ink wearing over the years. Generally, very good condition. Probably just read a couple of times.
