Ok I've been working on this bike for a while now and tore it down and put it back together with a new head because there was no compression and the valves were bent, so i bought the new head and put it on and everything on that head was fine. So i put the timing on with a new timing chain and we got the timing wrong so we tried it again and we noticed that the valves weren't hitting this time but it still wasnt right, but now we got it all right and we tried to start it but it backfired through the carbs and theres not much compression at all. could we of bent the valves when we first tried it even though they didnt hit hard cuz everytime they touched it would stop cranking? Could that be the reason why theres no compression is cuz the valves got bent. The rings are good btw.
