I have a little Honda Express NC50 that is not getting any spark. I will list the things I have done so far: I have cleaned the carb in and out, I am getting continuity through the ignition coil, checked wiring with a meter to make sure I am getting continuity throughout the bike. The continuity from the coil to the end of the spark plug is reading about 9k. The original spark plug cap/boot was missing the electrode so I spliced a new cap on using a suppression cable. Is 9K too high for a reading? I made the assumption that it would need high resistance being it is the spark plug cable... Any help would be great! Thanks!
Also I wanted to say that with a brand new freshly charged battery that the horn, headlight nor taillight is working. I am getting voltage to ignition switch but nothing electrical is working.
