1977 Dodge 360 with 120k. Burns some oil on warm starts and accel. 8psi+/- wet dry

compression tests any info? Truck smokes after warming up on starts and acceleration. Compression test for wet and dry are +/-8psi. Hoping valve seal but not sure anyone have any ideals?
