My 1974 Ford F100 Ranger (360 v8)is running very rough (shaking like mad crazy) ... Well we HAVE changed all the plugs the cap, wires, and rotor. It backfires (flames out the tailpipe and carb) after running for a bit. When i push on the accelerator it chokes the engine and kills it. Vacuums are all pluged and ran right timing is on exactly timing chain is tight and gears cant be bad because the rotor responds to the turning crank immediately . The carb has been rebuilt multiple times so i doubt it needs it again. A possibility is valves but idk how to adjust/test/replace them. So if you have ideas please post them and check back in case you have something to add. Thank you so very much!
