I drove the mustang to school, it started up fine and during 2nd hour i brought it in the shop so i can change the thermostat, well i spilled some on the water pump and didn't clean it up, after that i started up just fine again, but when i drove it out for lunch again it started up fine but when i stop and shut it off for about 2 min then i went back to start it up and their was nothing only a few clicks, when i open the hood i notice their was some antifreeze droplets every where, so i jump it and drove it to the shop again and after school it didn't start again so i jump it and now im back home. I want to know what could be wrong with it. Thanks

a clicking solenoid is usually a bad battery connection, clean the post and cables with a post cleaner brush available at parts stores for a couple of bucks..

Ido gives a thoughtfull answer. I think the ignition system is probably going south-given the cold and damp turn of the weather. My coil gave up after a sudden temp change. The resistor wiring gave good reason to re-new allong with the solenoid wiring and fuse-box cleanings. Be very wary of the wiring to the distributor. These wires may need the 'wiggle' test-to confirm thier condition. A 6 guage wire added to the engine and body, from the battery ,may solve everything?

you may have pinched the thermostat in the housing causing a small leak, that is lubing the belt, letting the alternator slip.id dry the housing and charge the battery, then check for moisture.
