Ok let me ask if this will solve my problems. I have a 69 Stang with a 302 motor. The car was an original I6. The Transmission stayed but they swapped the motor for a 302. My motor has many upgrades, edelbrock performance package. Car is quick but I wanna drive the freeway and can't. When I'm doing 55 mph rpm s are at three in third gear! I just found a FMX transmission along with a Ford 9 inch rear end. Will this help my problem? Anyone with a 3 Speed have similar problems?
