1968 Dodge Dart Project Idea.?

So, I have 2 1968 Dodge Darts. One slant-six, the other is a 273 hardtop. I also have a 1971 barracuda engine and trans. I am not able to restore these because what I put into one of the projects will cost 2-3 times more than the value of the car itself. So I was wondering, what if I restored the slant-six; which is actually in great condition minus the paint, wheels, and the front seats. I could just switch the rims and the new bucket seats out of the hardtop and put it into the slant-six. The hardtop also has a nice bumper I could put on there. I could also just get a good paint job for a couple thousand. My mechanics repainted my stealth for a little over $2k. I could probably put in a couple hundred to get the engine running again. Then I would just have to sell the hardtop and engine package and hopefully that will pay for half of the cost of paint.

I was also thinking down the line, when I have more money after I get my degree, how much money would it cost to convert it to a 426 HEMI to resell and make a prophet or to trade for a matching numbers 1968-70 manual Dodge Charger. I was hoping, maybe, I could keep the original transmission.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
Right, so you are talking about getting a loan on it with a down-payment. Where would be a good place to do that? Are there muscle car dealerships out there? And tell me more about the challenger you are thinking about getting. Is it nice? Thanks for all your help!
