1964 Ford Thunderbird Help?

I have a 1964 ford Thunderbird.
The engine inside is a 351 and it says so on the manual
But i can find no evidence of ford ever creating a 1964 t-bird
with a 351
Please help

sounds like somebody did an engine swap it probaly had a 352 in it

The only engine offered in the 64,65 T-birds was the 300hp 390 c.i.d.If it has some thing else,past owner swapped original motor.Find the engine number on the block to research which engine is in it.

all i can think of is double check the year AND the manual.

as far as i can tell they didn't start that engine till 1970... though i can be totally off.

Are you sure someone did not put it in there? Have you checked
the numbers on the block id pad?
