1963 Chevy Impala electrical problem please help?

I have a 1963 impala Im installing a 350 on it I hae everything almost done but my problem is that two of my fuses keeps blowing up. i replace some wires, I replace the starter + wire, The starter + and the distributor + are going to one + wire to the plug that connects to the fuse-box Ie also eliminated the oil sensor and the temperature sensor because Im using different gages. Ie also replace Another wire that is only a ground. Does anyone know why fuses keep blowing up the two that are blown up are if you start from the top then it would be the 2nd and 3rd fuse. is there anyone with a 63 impala that can tell me how the wires go on the plug that goes from the starter to the distributor to the fuse box is the plug closer to the left fender. or if there's a website were I can find it thanks
