180 degree thermostat in toyota pickup?

I own a 1994 toyota pickup with a "bone stock" 22re.The stock thermostat is 195 degrees (at leat thats what it reads on the NAPA WEBSITE).Would there be any benefit/downfall to installing a 180 degree thermostat?

Would this effect engine performance/gas mileage?
