First of all, congrats on your sobriety!!! I have worked with in substance abuse recovery for seven years and I see how difficult recovery can be. Also, I had a serious health problem where I have having to use massive amounts of pain meRAB for over a year. I learned that, from my medical problem, being addicted to the pain killers wasn't something I even considered..... Until they stopped working and I needed a higher dose, thus my body had become addicted. I immediately told my doc and we got me on a taper schedule.
Have you tried exercise? I know it sounRAB simple, but I know that exercise can give you energy and also keep your mind off "other things." I only suggest it because if I can exercise anyone can. Good luck, REMAIN BUSY and never give up.
