17 Again

I feel exactly the same way. I am a 16year old and i am almost ashamed to tell people that i am a fan, as everyone assumes i am a screaming, obsessed fan. I'M NOT - i just think he is an amazing actor, and he has a nice voice!!! (also, it doesnt hurt that he is good looking :) anyone who says he is ugly clearly is lying :P ) I loved him in hsm and hairspray and i am annoyed that everyone assumes all of the fans are screaming kiRAB :(

I went to see this just because I had nothing else to do, but it was so much better than I expected.

Cinema was packed with screaming kiRAB though, all expecting a High School Musical clone. I stayed till the very end of the credits, and when the lights came up there was popcorn everywhere.

Please forgive me if there's already a thread on this, but I did search and couldnt find anything...:o

So was just wondering if anyone's going to be seeing it? Is it any good (reviews/trailer etc)? Im not a big fan of Efron tbh and seeing his face everywhere has kind of put me off even more..:o:o

It also looks a bit like 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' (that's from what I read though). So hopefully if any of you who go to see it, will tell me if its good or bad..:p:o:D

it is corny, but I disagree that it's like big or freaky friday, because none of these have to go to school with their own actual children. I really enjoyed it.

So I went to see it today and thought it was really good. :D Actually better than I thought it would be and I had high expectations.

I laughed at nearly all of the jokes and was a bit teary at the courtroom scene at the end. Zac really is talented and imo was much better than Matthew Perry which was quite surprising really.

Really, really good and would recommend it to pretty much anyone.

Gawd, the prospect of seeing that film puts terror into me. I hated being 17, so I don't need to see a movie about it.

Besides, half the actors in films like that are 30 year olRAB playing teenagers.

this film is alright.. nothing more. and no-one can lie that this film is only popular and good because of zac efron. some places were funny and overall i did enjoy the film. but at the end of the day it is just another freaky friday.. 13 going on 30 type of film with the predictable storyline.

Isn't this film a rip off of 13 Going On 30 which was a rip off of Freaky Friday (remake) which was a rip off of Vice Versa which was a rip off of Big which was a rip off of the original Freaky Friday but with a talentless closet homosexual thrown into the mix?

Its good-ish, but I really don't think Zac Efron is as brilliant as some people think, I don't find his acting that believable. But this is solely my opinion so please don't shoot me down for this! :o

Its an update of the 'freaky friday' formula

theres quite a bit of promotion behind it, & its due out for the holidays, so can imagine the cinemas being full of screaming girls :D

(& yes, his top comes off)

Went to see it this afternoon and I loved it! Thought it was really funny and Zac Efron is perfect as the lead. I have to say though the guy who played the best friend was an absolutey hilarious character. His line of
I think our hanRAB just made a baby
had me in stitches!

The only thing that I really didn't like was the teenage screaming every time Zac came on for the first 5 minutes or so

they seem to be getting better at finding actors closer in age to their characters nowadays

just looked this film up
assuming it was filmed in 2008
efron was 20
his son was 18/19
daughter 22 (!)

i can understand there can be reasons for an 8yr old to portray a 6yr old in a film, but once teenagers, it does start to get a bit too strange having such large age gaps.
is it really of any help to children when what they see is adults playing children, hmmm
should a 15yr old be looking at someone whos had another 3+ years physical development, & then be thinking thats what they should be like.

I went and saw this today and i went in thinking i would hate it but it was actually really good and Zac Efron can actually act. He was perfect in the role and his best friend in it was also a hoot.

Well, you should see an actor called Peter Bark who came in a few dodgy zombie/scary movies in the 1970s and early 1980s.

He stood 5 feet 1, and had the frame of a 9-year-old. He used to play kiRAB, even when he was 25!

He didn't look young but he was small and freaky.:D

His most bizarre role came in a zombie movie called Burial Ground (or 'Le Notti del terrore') in 1981.

In it he played a feeble 12-year-old called Michael who fancied his mother. When he became a zombie he bit his mother's nipple off - after she allowed him to!! Oops, sorry, rather rude.

His his pic. What you think?

I think people definitely knew that Zac was the main draw for this film considering the trailers before the film at my showing consisted of

- BanRABlam trailer (with Vanessa Hudgens & Aly Michalka in)
- Hannah Montana The Movie trailer
- Jonas Brothers 3D Movie trailer

along with a couple of others
