...then it all happens as they (his corrupt colleagues) try to stop him.Even if you have seen the movie version get a hold of the dvd with the different ending.

Bruce Willis stars alongside a cast that looks like they have come from NYPD and Hill Street Blues.A real gritty action movie with more twists and turns than a hamster in a ball..

Totally unrealistic bore fest with Mos Def doing a really annoying voice all the way through.

They altered the DVD version to provide a "happy" ending.The cinema version stuck to the original book
and Willis dies and his sister receives the cake from
the ex witness who has set up a bakery in both their
names....

Willis' character didn't die in the cinema version. That must be the alternate ending on the DVD.

I am glad to see there are more like me in here that notice this little rash of a man. I thought his voice was damn annoying, to say the least. I felt like punching him in the face and then pressing the stop button lol. God only knows what the idiot director, and idiot producers were on when they had the idea of telling him to put that irritating voice on. It spoiled the movie for me. His voice is the reason I gave the movie 7 out of 10 and nothing higher, and I was being generous as well with that rating.

I dont know if there is anyone more irritating in a movie, any movie, than the ass clown with the squeeky voice that follows Bruce Willis around in - 16 Blocks.

I'm glad they changed the ending the alternative (i.e. original, but not used) would have made for a very disappointing end to the movie (IMO).
