Hello everyone,

I'm a little confused about the 150 hour requirement to sit for the CPA exam. I'm currently in CA and I know that this requirement isn't yet the law here, however, I want to meet the 150 hour requirement since it seems to be the profession's new standard. I know that I can meet this requirement by getting my MS in Taxation after I finish my BS in Accounting but I'm curious about other credits that might meet this requirement. I've been considering law school as an option to meet this requirement since I'm interested in the estate and trust areas of tax planning. I just can't seem to find any information about attending law school to meet this new 150 hour requirement. I'm not even sure that law school would be a good option over getting the MST but it seems that this route could possibly "kill two birds with one stone". Any answers, insight, or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
