14 want to start doing photography have a canon eos 500 want to learn

techniquies but dont know where to start? im 14 and really love photography.
i have a canon eos 500
but never used it. and dont know how to use it.

i dont know any technuiqes , and i cant even use photoshop.

where do i start?

do i take a class?
fly solo. and just learn myself.
read afew interenet pages?

oh , and im a girl
oh and i lost the manual for the camera.

it used rolls of film not a sd card or anything


how wouldi get my photos onto the computer.


would i have to take it somewhere so they can install a memory card in it;?

or is that impossible.?

I think your Canon came with a manual and a DVD. Watch the DVD with manual in hand. Learn what they are trying to teach you.

A camera is a machine that takes photos, an automobile is a machine that takes you places. You don't get your license to drive either without practice!

Edit: Impossible, nothing you have mentioned is impossible, but the cost factor may make you wish that you had bought a better camera to begin with.
