After a little looking I found a 2007 1098 with 4000 miles. I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow. Any recommendations on a good jacket? I live in Hawaii, so it has to breath and be good for warm weather? I'd also like it to somewhat match the DUCATI (RED). I'M EXCITED!!! Anyone use the Ducati Summer tech jacket?

No sh*t I had a guy pull along side in an mx5 a couple of years back and innocently asked me if i realised my bike had dropped a big end or something ? When I shouted back they're meant to sound like that, he shouted back "you paid good money for something that sounds like a bag of shit ?

I had no answer and rode off.

I bought an 848, then a buddy of mine gave me some 1098R left over decals he had...I put them on for fun...now I have a 1098R...since I put the decals on my bike is night and day faster....!!!! jajajaja

Really though, I do have the stickers on and no one has noticed its not an 1098R yet even a Duc guy that had a 999...

My plan is to upgrade to termi and Olihs and change the sticker to say 848R...

Congrats on the 1098! You will not only have a great bike, you have fantastic weather. I have a Red\Black Joe Rocket Meteor jacket and I am very pleased with it.

I'm coming from a 2007 R1, and I have the same decision to make. Arghhh! Seems like the hardest decision I have had to make in a long time.
