110" or 103"?

Just got a 2010 Street Glide. I absolutely love it except for one thing...the power. While i'm well aware of the type of bike I now have, that still doesn't change me. I like power. It doesn't have to be as fast as a Vrod (although that would end my quest for more power) but I want more than what the Glide gives.
So, does anyone have a recommendation as to which kit (or a different one) would be a good power upgrade that would keep reliability but still put a fat smile on my face without costing me $7,000 +? (Same question everyone has, i'm sure...lol)

Does the 110" give you that much more than a properly tuned 103"? BTW i'm not stuck on either...i'm open to other options as well. I just put on a V&H Pro Pipe without air & fuel. I'm holding for the upgrade.

Dealer mentioned going with a 103" air, fuel & 255 cams. Sounded ok but i'm not all knowing & definitely can use advice/suggestions/ideas/guidance etc. lol. Thanks

You can't go to a 110 without pulling the motor and splitting the cases. If you go to that much trouble, you might as well build a 117 (or 120).

You can go as big as 107 by changing jugs. The 107 that fuel moto built makes 110/120 with Woods cams and what they're calling "stage II" heads. They just posted a dyno chart on it.
 
What's a real world approx cost for a 120"? This is going to be a winter project. I checked out Fuelmoto's website. Seems like there's a choice on power commanders. I'm kinda of used to jetting carbs not picking power commanders. How do I choose?
 
You would use the PCV. They're (fuelmoto) also excellent tuners, and I don't know if you read that entire thread that somebody above me posted, but if not you should. They're in the final stages of building a 107 kit that's making 110/120, and those numbers are extremely close to that of a v-rod. I can't tell you the cost of doing a 120, maybe Hillside will chime in here and let you know, but dollar for dollar I'd personally go with Jamie's 107 kit (depending on what he prices it at), but I've used him for several things and never felt "raped" by any means. A good, high-quality, respected sponsor/vendor on this sight.

Also, be VERY SKEPTICAL of what most Harley dealerships give you advice on. You will get a lot of misinformation from a lot of them. I personally believe that you'll get more accurate information right here 95% of the time. Especially if you get advice from "Dawg", "Phil", "iclick" and several others.
 
A 103 stage 1 and PCV would be/is geat power and HP AND rideable. A 103 with cams and PCV would be more power than you have tire for. The 110 isn't without problems.

The 110 is a great motor, but very, very expensive to build. I'd go 103 and resist the temptation to put in "big" cams. That would all the power waaay up in the rev range. Not what you want.
 
I have to say thanks to you guys for your help/advice because I was really considering doing an SE 103" kit, but after reading all the suggested material I'm probably not going that route now.

Looks like I'm going to wait & see how this 107" kit turns out with the TW-555 because if it performs as good as it looks it'll be just what I'm looking for.
