My daughter is 11 weeks old and for the last 6 days she is not eating like she used to. She was taking 24-26 oz a day which is still kind of low considering she is 12 lbs 3 oz (should take around 2.5 oz per lb) but lately she takes around 16-22 oz at the most. She doesnt really cry for a bottle anymore. I basically have to offer it and fight her to take it (she starts to cry when I put it in her mouth) Eventually she will take it, but when she does she either drinks half then stiffens out and starts crying and moving around, or she falls asleep and stops drinking or she takes forever to drink. She took 45 mins to drink 3 oz today. Other then this she is fine. No fever and she is laughing and playing like usual. She is having wet diapers and seems fine other then not wanting to eat her bottle. I plan to call her doctor in the morning and make an appointment but I was wondering what could cause this if anyone else went through it with their kids. Her doctor had her on Prevacid before for possible reflux, but it didnt help so we took her off it and she stopped her eating problems. Now she is back to them again.
