dont get me wrong, if i got a d16 i would just ride with a 20oz fuel bottle for researve. but i probably can't afford the maintenence or the bolt ons. apparently insurance isnt so bad i hear.

Desmo comes with 3 years warranty and maintenance at no charge. Don't know pricing after that expires.

thats pretty slick. i guess i have one years free maintenance since i bought during that promo, but shit, 3 years is wicked. i would ride it everywhere!! haha

Having never owned either, I just can't get into the Desmo. Sure, it's the ultimate Ducati, but something about the 1098R is just raw. I heart that bike! Keep the R!
