I'm happy for Joe too. Hell, I'm happy for any guy that's got a bike and the time to ride it, including you. I'm not sure what "bent your axle" but maybe you just had a bad day.

In any case, I'm not distraught over anyone's engine upgrade hobby, including my own. It's all just a hobby for any of us and we should get as much enjoyment out of it as we can. The point of the forum is to help each other out. Telling others what they "want to hear" isn't always the best we can offer to them.

If my bike's performance ended at 111/115 on paper but it ran like a scalded dog, I certainly wouldn't care about the paper chase. OTOH if there's plenty of tuning improvement left on the table (as there was with my bike), then we owe each other the feedback and the tips to point us in the right direction. It's worth noting I got a number of excellent tips in my tuning efforts that came from HDF.

FWIW, the upgrade "journey" is alot more fun than the finished product. So hopefully Joe's 95hp 106" is the start of the "upgrade journey" and not the finish line. As with most of us, I suspect that is the case.

Hopefully you'll have a nicer day tomorrow. Maybe even a great day that includes a bike ride.

I would want to see an AFR line for that run. Numbers don't look right.

Here's my stock 96" with Woods TW6-6, Thunderheader, TTS Mastertune and a SE Heavy Breather:

Before y'all get your panties in a bunch, Jamie at Fuelmoto got similar results with similar parts on his dyno. Stock the 96" makes in the sixties on RC's dyno.

I think the tuner left something on the table. Just my opinion.

I talked to D&D yesterday..The Concentric baffle should not be on any bike other than a stock 96 with a performance air cleaner Period!
The Baffle I need is on its way and then back to the dyno to see what this combo can produce.

+1. There seems to be a lot of dyno charts of people running a 96" with (insert cam) making around 95-ish HP... I don't think it's a conspiracy or anything.

Fuelmoto has been posting charts for days while testing the Woods cams on a 96. Those numbers seem to be around that range.

i had the 88 on my street glide pumped to a high compression 95 with 211 cams stock heads arlen ness big sucker 2 into 1 thunder header larger injectors and a harley race tuner and the shop dynoed it at 101tq and 109hp to the wheel. granted the shop said they dont usually get these numbers with out head work and everything must have messhed together perfectly but it screamed down the highway
