1050 PRL rolling back to 1X

Has anybody else had the 1050 PRL roll back to 1X? Im in North Carolina.
I just changed my ESN to use my Touch yesterday and EV is switching to 1x when I try to connect up to the net.
This did not happen on my Mogul will the same PRL. The two are running different radios. I may downgrade the Touch radio.
I have tried to force HDR by editing the setting. After this it will have EV then no connection at all.
 
Opps forgot the HDR password. I am trying a beta ROM.

680kbps download on the Touch al la Cricket. Better than the 128kbps 1X.

i just installed blee's v2 rom on two moguls yesterday and one was kicking back to 1x and then staying there...i didn't check the radio versions yet, but the hdr username and password is set on both within the phones pst...

i'm going to mess with it later this afternoon and i'll post whatever fix i find.
 
I got over 1200 kbps once in raleigh yesterday with dcd beta rom. Other times it has been steady around 700 dl and 300 ul. Im happy with that



And a resolution I have found if it is bouncing in b/w 1x and EVDO is to change one at a time the HDR username and password and the other username and password to bla nk, soft reset then go right back to epst and correct it. This has worked everytime for me.
