Ok, so as some of you know, I got in a car accident and my father's BMW is gone. I mean fucking totalled. And now I'm pissed off...for multiple reasons. One, is that I got blamed for the entire incident because, of course(say it with me now,)YOUNG PEOPLE APPARENTLY CAN'T DRIVE. Which is true, in most cases. But I was not a bad driver, and no I'm not hacking up some loogey of bullshit on u guys, I was a good driver and my friends chose me to drive anywhere because they knew I was safe and would not pull stupid stunts.

So now I'm blacklisted as a "bad driver," I have no fucking car, my insurance rates are through the roof and I feel like I'm fucking bankrupting my parents. I really hate doing that too...they just bought me a ton of things for x-mas and my b-day, and now I feel like "Hey, while your at it, buy me a new car!" Which they want to do, and we need another car anyways. but still i feel bad making them pay for it.

Also, my dad and I got into an argument...the day he had to deal with the insurance company...to the point where he told me to "get the fuck out of the house." This is my first time being told to leave the house. AND I HAVE TWO FUCKING BROKEN WRISTS. Where the fuck am I going to go! All I said was "How was your day!"

Fuck.

I love that word.
 
Dude..I read the story on the shout-out box thingie, cause it was interesting. And yea, Hopfully you got the license plate for that woman right? Because if she just said "Oh well! :)" and drove away,then you better find that bitch.
 
Give him time hun. He'll cool off. Like you said, you already know what a financial crisis this put them in, regardless whose fault it was. You seem like a great kid, especially since you actually care how much it costs and don't just expect things to be replaced. Take care of your wrists, and hopefully soon things will get better.

I get that shit all the time. Once, I went to Blockbuster, on a stormy as fuck night, my brother opened his door, some douchebag from the college here comes flying into the spot, no lights on (it's fucking dark out), pulls in slanted, pushes my door past the hinges, then blames it all on me. I waited a fucking month before his bullshit insurance company said they wouldn't take any responsibility for the matter.

Fuck. I love that word.
 
I'm a teen and i drive pretty good. Probably because I have driven in India. My friend drives like a blind man though. Doesnt help that his reflexes are really slow.

HIH is right, give him time to cool off. He'll realize he shouldn't have blown up at you sooner or later.

Kids get a bad rap because the other 95% of you drive like shit. Truthfully, tons of kids drive like they have years of skill under their belts and work for the CIA as a chase driver....only they don't.

So, unfortunately, just like everything else in life...everyone else gets stereotyped. Suck it up, keep driving safe, and turn 25. That's all I can say.

I totalled my car about a year and a 1/2 ago. It does totally suck but no one was hurt and thats the main thing. Sounds like you were hurt a bit but you can be thankfull you were not paralized or killed. A car can be replaced but your life cannot. Still a shitty situation all the same. If the accident wasn't your fault i hope the other driver gets whats coming to them if they did leave the seen.

Really, I'm sorry to hear of your situation. Dads can be pricks sometimes.
 
I feel for you AngryW, I really do. Sometimes life seems to pile more and more shit on you until you can't see out of the pit you're in. I hope only for a speedy recovery and that your situation improves. Good luck to you, someone has to have good luck now and then, why not you?

You can have all mine I'm sure as fuck not using it.
 
Dude, I feel your pain (well, not the wrist thing, that sounds sore as fuck). I had a crash last year and lost 2yrs no-claims. Insurance companies screw anyone under 25 for as much as possible - heartless bastards.

With regards to the argy with your dad, I would hope he's mature enough to realise that in the light of day things weren't totally down to you, and that it was an (and lets all say this together....) ACCIDENT - stupid letigious society these days doesn't appreciate that word any more.......

ps - hope your wrists heal properly and quickly, with no complications.. nasty injury :(
