I thought Jack ought to have been a bit higher, he's been going for years and his material is still as good as it ever was.

I'm glad to see Stewart Lee is high on the list.

It looks like Ricky Gervais is going to be in the top 10 which is way too high as his TV shows are genius but his standup isn't that great.

It was dire. The list has no order at all - I half expected to see the likes of Dawn French at number one or something. Lenny Henry appearing in a top 100 was the funniest part of the show!

I'm out tonight and this thing is four hours long. I don't see why they could have done it over two nights.

Its a strange list so far I don't know how Dave Spikey was about 20 places below David Baddiel in 2007 and is now about 10 places higher.

That said this is voted by a British audience and Mitch was never really big over here....I mean, he wasn't mammoth in the U.S.A, so he was barely heard of here in Britain. I think him not being on the list is more testament to the fact he's just not as well heard of, rather than the fact he's not one of the 100 best comedians of all time.

I'm not surprised Stewart Lee moved up, his last 3 shows were all just jaw dropping, but it's not something that can come over on a clip show like this. You need to see his whole routine to get it.

Bill Hicks is number 1 by a mile for me.

Honourable mentions to Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, Eddie Izzard, Stewart Lee, Russell Brand, Connolly and a few others.

Hopefully Harry Hill, Peter Kay and Al Murrary all fall quite a few places, they were way too high on the previous list.

As for Macintyre I like him, I do think he's overrated though, and he's too overexpose and as a result, I'm beginning to get a bit sick of him.
I'm sure he will make the top 10, especially considering the flavour of the month the last time this list was done reach number two!
