100 Greatest Stand-Ups 2010 (Next Friday)

I'm pretty sure he would have been on the list- I was probably just distracted laughing at him :o

"I went to a store that said they specialized in hard to find records and tapes. Nothing was alphabetized!" :D

Yes,you are absolutely right ,dancing ledge.
I find all this filth a right turn off-people who are in the public eye should be setting an example-I would hate to be in any way related to the so called `comedians` of today -they are all a bunch of twits-completely talentless!!!
There is nothing funny about talking smut,or making fun of people who happen to have a disability through no fault of their own,or whose needs happen to be different than yours.
Lavatorial humour is for young lads in a school playground!
I do,however, respect the right of others to watch and enjoy this very low class `entertainment`(I use that word loosely to describe this form of presentation)
The standards in this and many other areas are miserably low,and it is the people who watch and thus promote this type of behaviour who are to blame for the poor way society is conducting itself currently.
Thank goodness for my CDs-I switch off most of the rubbish that`s foisted on us nowadays.
Does that answer your question?
Jennifer Kersey.

I would disagree about his comedy being of his time, I'm 20 and only found him about 18 months ago but still find his stuff relevant and it still speaks to me, and most importantly its still funny.

btw I don't think its a coincidence Leary has moved into acting since Hicks died, he has no one left to steal off. :D

I think he is funny too, but from what I have seen of his stand up he seems a bit of a one trick pony. He is spot on in his observations of Brits but for me that's all he seems to do. But hey I'm just basing that on what I have seen of him, there maybe is more to his act.

hOw was ricky gervais so high up on this list? Peter Kay still in the top ten really?

Good to see guys like rhod Gilbert, Russell Howard and frankie Boyle on the list. Though frankie should have been higher.

Can't really disagree with billy Connolly being top again, went to see him on his last tour and he was brilliant

I think more so than Bernard, even Chubby Brown doesn't get that much grief. It just seems that with Jim Davidson a lot of people seem to hate him with a passion.

The rock is the best i think i have seen in recent years, especially when he's on some good material, hilarious.

Prior to Coogans last tour I would have said he was up there but i spose maybe more of a comedy character guy as his latest show without Ianucci's help was woeful.

Gonna see Lee Mack (silly but funny) and Frankie Boyle (frightening) this year who i have seen before and rate highly.
