100 Greatest Stand-Ups 2010 (Next Friday)

Why did they bother putting out a "Warning: This programme contains strong language" warning at the start when they've ruined the entire thing by censoring it with that damn 'bleep'?
 
Wow, I guess there really is a wide range in what people find funny because I went to see Russell on his recent tour and I and the rest of the auditorium found him hilarious!
 
if Russell Howard is anywhere near the top 10 then I may have to leave Britain for good.

Pointing out the bleeding obvious is not funny.

I'm guessing that would be better in a list generated by a section of the public and a panel.
Higher generally means better in this sort of thing.

Opinions differ and opinions change from year to year, basically.
 
Bill didn't get diagnosed with cancer until June 1993, 7 months after his final UK shows. He'd been suffering with a pain in his side for a while before he got the diagnoses though.
 
Michael lower than I expected! I think the talking heads summed up well there what's good about him. Some people are mystified by it.



Yeah that's true. He gained some notoriety after he died but before then I'd only seen him a handful of times on late night stand up shows on Paramount Comedy.
